If only the stuff I slathered in my moleskines looked this cool... Nyktos by ~edgar-t is sensational in every way, rivetting for its potent display of textures and broad, fearless brushstrokes, blooming with life and cosmic beauty. Please enjoy. Beautiful. You captured the fluidity of motion very well, and with what appears to be a stronger focus on the face by being more detailed there, the rest of the piece forms automatically to the eye, such as if a person rearranged the letters in a word. Beautiful work, and the texture is gorgeous. Paint and ink is some of my favorite stuff.

These is something avant-garde about 'Nyktos'. And it is, to these eyes, a piece of high art. The texture feels halfway between airy lightness and impressive weight. The billowing gown of the woman is sharp and feathery, dark to the point where it conceals the arms and light to the point it masks the stopping point of her body. She appears a creature of mythology. A harpy, a Valkyrie, a goddess of victory. But she is far to modern in herself for that. Her face emerges from two wings or later a flying scarf. Her hair too is whippingly alive. Like a figure from Dracula she is a mixture of the classical, the barely pre-modern and the mysterious bordering on the arcane.
